CFI'S Annual Conference

Thank you to all our supporters for making 2009 a fantastic year for Children's Fellowship of India. We thank God for each one of you. God allowed and gave us an opportunity through your prayers and support to shine the light of Jesus Christ to our small part of world at CFI and Naya Akola.

We are thankful that we finished the year with 147 boys and 20 staff members at the campus. Children continue to grow in the word everyday. Older Children seem to be more matured in the Lord and their attitude continues to be positive. They are more helpful toward the younger ones and are becoming more responsible. Continue to pray for them as God leads them in their lives.

As this next year begins, I challenge each one of you to consider taking a trip to CFI. The children and the staff are always encouraged through the visit of our friends and supporters from the USA. We are thankful and grateful to our friends in Poughkeepsie, NY for the gift of the new generator which was just purchased in India.

The CFI board has considered establishing a special medical fund to take care of these medical emergencies, both for our children and our staff in India. As of right now, there is no medical insurance in India. I encourage and appreciate any contribution that you would put towards this fund both now and in the future.

My sincere thanks for your part in the CFI family. I know the Lord will bring happiness to your heart because you have brought joy to the hearts of His special children in India. Please continue to pray for the children and especially the new child we just received. We need prayers for the staff and leadership as well. May the Lord bless you!
